One of my WIPs in waiting has been clawing it’s way back out and I think I’m going to work on it today. Mostly because it’s full of queer characters who are all problematic in some ways and messy as fuck. Because queer people don’t have to be perfect. Please don’t listen to anyone who tells you otherwise.

I am a queer person writing queer normative worlds and entire casts of queer people. Some of them have to be little fucked up okay? I’m not hiding their fucked-up-ness. I’m not excusing their behaviors.

And sometimes I just want there to be unhinged chaotic little queers okay?

Oh, and this collage is a new Neon Academia character who keeps popping into my head. My lesbian heir to a casino who has a secret gambling addiction, maintains her perfect GPA by have fellow students work of their gambling debts by writing her papers. She’s so close to graduating, there’s no way her hot TA will find out….right?
