Hello dear hearts
Sometime the arbitrary marking of another is helpful, sometimes I ignore it.
This year it’s mostly the first. I’m ready to see what 2023 has in store but I also want to properly acknowledge my 2022, then take a break until after the New Year from the content and publishing things.
Even from social media. I am moving all my social apps into a folder and hiding them on a different screen so that I am not likely to accidently tap into it, because muscle memory.
But before I sign off for the rest of the year, I want to share some of my favorite things.
Favorites of 2022

In no particular order, these books stuck with me and I’m still thinking about them. I tried to keep the list as short as I could, but I have read 53 five star books this year. So this is just a small part of them.

I tried to do a movies category but can literally only think of Everything Everywhere All At Once. That movie just was perfection and I can’t remember any other movie I watched this year.
One day I would like to keep better track of things I liked and loved and cried about as the year goes by so I can do a better year end wrap up, but that did not happen this year.
I may take some time over the next twelve days to dig through journals and old phone Notes to see what pops up to talk about in January. But for now, this is what I have.
And if you follow me on Instagram, I posted in my IG stories my favorite/memorable posts this year.
Until next year,
-Ash
Yay for endings and yay for new beginnings!
